We've been dog owners our whole lives. From the scruffy rescue mutts of childhood to the goofy Frenchie who inspired our logo, dogs have always been part of every chapter of our story — riding shotgun on road trips, snoring through movie nights, and sneaking onto every couch we've ever owned.
The Sit Spot was born out of a simple truth: leaving your dog is hard. Whether it's a workday that ran long, a weekend away, or a much-needed vacation, we wanted to give North Jersey dog families a sitter they could trust like family — because we'd want the same for our own pups.
Based in Wharton, NJ, we proudly serve Morris, Sussex, Bergen, and Passaic counties. We keep our client list intentionally small so every dog gets one-on-one attention, calm energy, and the routine they thrive on. No franchises. No rotating strangers. Just us, your dog, and a whole lot of belly rubs.
